This conference brought together several startups from the ‘Proptech’ sector, and their CEOs presented ideas for the prospective future of the world of property.
The event was moderated by our CEO Nacho Castella, and the number of people who showed up to listen exceeded all expectations, as the Agora room was full in the Roca Junyent offices of Barcelona.
The following entrepreneurs and special guests were the highlight of the event, as they presented their novel ideas and perspectives on ‘Proptech’:
● Álex Purull presented Nester, a rental management service for property owners.
● Jeroen Merchiers is the CEO of Zazume, a company which helps manage renting of flats for the lessor as well as the tenant.
● Rebeca Pérez is the CEO of Inviertis, an online platform which aims to facilitate investment in property and helps investors achieve profit.
There were also other guests who talked about different aspects of startups:
– Roberto Guiñales talked about evaluation and fundraising for startups. He also touched on the topic of artificial intelligence being used for startups, stating that he believes that any new technology must not be used until it has been adapted to be used specifically in that sector.
– Fede Segura explained the legal aspect of creating a startup and going through the process of making the company grow.
– To close the function, Josep Jorge presented The District Show, an international event for investors and professionals in the field of property.

The aim of this event is to be a reference point for the ‘Proptech’ ecosystem, and for that reason there is a second version of this event already in progress.
