Barcelona, January 31 of 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

The investment group Gesiuris Real Estate<\/strong> has bought the technology startup YourHoming Apartaments<\/strong>, specialized in the rental of tourist and seasonal apartments in Barcelona. The company, founded in 2008<\/strong>, currently had six partners, Nacho Castella (Cat Real Estate), Oriol Molas (Orience International), Pere Angerri (Proaudit), Ignacio Garc\u00eda (YouStylish.com), and the companies Arlet Real Estate and Namargui. All the partners have sold their stakes and Gesiuris Real Estate now holds 100% of the capital.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

The amount of the transaction has not been made public but the company had managed to survive the COVID crisis and maintain occupancies of 80% by being more focused on temporary rental than tourist rental.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Nacho Castella, CEO of real estate group <\/strong>Cat Real Estate<\/span>,<\/strong> a leader in wealth management and real estate consulting, “this is excellent news for the #proptech sector in BCN. It is the first startup from the Cat Real Estate Proptech incubator to be sold in its entirety to a third party.”<\/span><\/p>\n

With this purchase, Gesiuris Real Estate’s portfolio exceeds 25 million euros, and its objective of continuing with the business plan and expansion of Yourhoming Apartaments is fulfilled. Especially with the acquisition of new buildings in Barcelona to dedicate them to temporary rentals.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Likewise, the director of Yourhoming will continue to be Natalia Ankudinova, who will have the mission to consolidate the project and turn the company into one of the leaders in the temporary rental market in Barcelona.

Currently, Cat Real Estate’s proptech incubator has 4 incubated startups<\/strong> highlighting Rentando<\/span>, which has achieved a growth of 180% this year. It operates in Barcelona and Madrid.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cat Real Estate<\/strong> was born in 2004 and has specialized in real estate portfolio management for local family offices<\/strong><\/em>. In the last four years they have bought 40 properties in Barcelona and 10 in Madrid and now have a mandate to invest another 14 million euros this year. The firm manages assets of 750 million euros.<\/span><\/p>\n
